From Aguada, Puerto Rico, Angel Fabián Rivera is a dynamic actor and content creator

reshaping the narrative for Latinos in entertainment. With a Drama degree from the University

of Puerto Rico, Angel’s career spans film, theater, and television.

 

His breakout role in the Hollywood action film Plane, alongside Gerard Butler and Mike Colter, marked the beginning of an impressive journey. He has since appeared in feature films like Border Baby, Noche de Talentos, The Vegan Virgin, and Written in Blood. His TV breakout role is NBC/Telemundo’s Velvet. Angel’s charm made him a household name in Puerto Rico as the face of Lottery Commercials, where his catchphrase, “Pa’ que te pegues otra vez,” won hearts. He has also been featured in campaigns for Cinnabon International and the CDC and worked as a Spanish dubbing artist for Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story. On stage, Angel has delivered memorable performances in Shrek: The Musical, Little Shop of Horrors, The Importance of Being Earnest, Homos or Everyone in America, and Mary Poppins. His passion for storytelling fuels his dedication to both acting and directing.

In 2024, Angel hosted the New York Latino Film Festival, a milestone that deepened his

connection to the Latino community. Inspired by this experience, he launched Lights, Camera,

Latino: The Podcast, a platform dedicated to celebrating and amplifying Latino voices in

entertainment.

Currently based in Atlanta, GA, Angel is commercially represented by Daniel Hoff Talent Agency

and managed by Daniel Gutiérrez (Volition USA). Through his project Lights, Camera, Latino!, he continues to champion Latino talent and inspire the next generation of artists.
